You are talking about the pausing from our normal (?) thinking to allow for God's presence, not just when we are in trouble, but as often as we can throughout the day. Sometimes I need to focus on a truth, or principle for just 30 seconds or so, God is with me right now, or maybe a favorite scripture verse. Taking just a minute to ponder a truth brings it to life in me and in a real sense I am reborn anew in the moment. What an awesome God we have.

I share your excitement. My goal is to help people turn inward for their answers and express their creator. In trying to do that, my expression is growing and I find I am reaching out to work with others. My experience is that most of us have been programmed to be in fear of expressing ourselves by the social mirror that we have to be approached gently. As an exampe, my business, the Magic Color Page. I won't get into details but it's basically a color page that kids can wear. It's got me networking with schools, churches, and others. I believe I was inspired to do this and have persevered in my efforts. What I found from some of the networking is that in our society, people might be willing to show up, but involvement, that's another story. So I had to adapt, not quit. I am beginning a whole new line of Possitudes with a sub category of Inspirational slogans. Ideas and slogans that make people pause to ask "what does that say" (kind of remind ourselves and others of what's really important) These are t-shirts or stickers.
Things like "I Am A Prayer", or (note to self) Trust God Never Mind, or yesterday's inspiration "got fear..GOD.CalM".
It hasn't taken off yet but the more I depend on God the more inspiration and direction I'm given and the fear that used to be there is replaced by joyous anticipation.

Your blog came up as related to mine and I couldn't be more in agreement with you. I find that although my mind was given to me by God, it's not always accurate information. Pausing often throughout my day and asking for an intuitive thought, building that living relationship with God, doing his will, is far more beneficial to everyone than anything I try to come up with on my own. I am defintely bookmarking your blog.

Sooooo true! I think its because christians are always answering questions that no one is asking! We need to stop talking and start listening... My wife always tells me that? Perhaps the real problem is that christian leadership is predominantly controlled by men who are notorious for having chronic listening disfunction?
