My approach to life lately has been is that it is scary fun. It came to me as I was on the Tower of Terror ride at California Adventure across from Disneyland. The ride is a Twilight Zone themed elevator ride with unexpected drops and lifts. At the end I had experienced “scary fun”.
We live in uncertain times- that’s the scary part of life. Each new day makes us wonder will happen next. In the midst of these circumstances is God- calling us to trust him and get ready for the ride of a lifetime. God has a surprising way of showing up and actually enabling us to enjoy life though we may not know where we’re going. That’s the fun side of life.
Trusting God is meant to be scary fun. You’re a little apprehensive when the unexpected happens but afterwards you can look back and say “I did it.” I think this is what puts a smile on God’s face- he knew all along that you could!
