There’s a big difference between waiting for something to happen and making something happen. Learning to know when to wait and when to act is a lesson that needs to be learned early in life.
God sometimes has us in a waiting mode while He gives us further instructions. Trying to start something when God says “wait” never works. But most of the time, God is waiting for us to act so that he can do His part. It doesn’t do much good to pray “I need a job, send one my way” when you haven’t been sending our resumes and filling out applications. God is waiting on you.
Could you accomplish more if you began to be an initiator rather than one who waits? As you stay connected with God, you’ll accomplish more than you thought was possible.
