We had a great Sunday at Sweetwater River Church with Romie Cervantes. She has been a chaplain at Las Colinas Correctional Facility and founded Love Bridge, helping women make the transition from the prison house to God’s house. Romie is 72 and has the energy of a person half her age. She was an encouragement to all of us that God still wants to use us.
I’m encouraged that lately about 10% of our attendance consists of people who have been at SRC for a month or less. It is exciting to see new faces and watch God work in their lives.
I ended Sunday evening in our couples small group- a great time to learn how to make our marriages even better. I want to be a forever learner when it comes to my marriage.
