I looked at our worship team this past Sunday and I counted the following ethnicities: 4 blacks, 4 whites, 4 Asians and 3 Hispanics. That’s the color of worship.
The diversity of Sweetwater River Church has become attactional to new people. Friends can be invited from any ethnicity and know that they won’t stand out in a congregation full of colors. Mixed marriages aren’t uncommon and Spanish speakers listen to the message in Spanish through headsets.
I love my church, I love the people and I am thankful for the privilege of leading this congregation.
