Success is often a matter of effort. I firmly believe that most of us have some idea of what we should be doing with our lives…be it full-time ministry, a career, school, etc. What I have noticed is that not as many people give the amount of effort in these areas that is necessary for success.
I keep reminding myself and the staff of Sweetwater River Church that it is often the last 10% effort and the extra 10% effort that makes the difference. Instead of putting out 90% effort, put out 100%. Then give extra 10% on top of the 100%. This 20% is often the difference between success and failure. The challenge is to do it every day.
